Definitely not. Just... no.

I suppose there would only be two good things about knowing when you're going to die. The first would be that you can prepare and put everything in good order, and be able to say your goodbyes and such. The second, and more interesting, side effect of knowing your death date would be a confidence and faith that you can make it through everything else. I'm thinking here of the movie "Big Fish" where the main character "sees" how he dies when he is a boy, so the rest of his life he's never scared when things get bad, because he knows "this isn't it... this isn't how I die."

Still... just no. I think it's enough to know that death is inevitable.
